  • I’d love to win this great collection! I’d probably use my favorite patina’s to colorize, your Rusted Hardware and Weathered Copper combinations.

  • I am really leaning towards the purples and deep blues as we head into longer nights!

  • Sheri L. Williamson

Since I live in Arizona, it’s gotta be copper, with the Weathered Copper patinas (especially desert sky blue and cactus green!).

  • Oh wow.. look at that treasure trove! I haven’t played with any sort of patina or color yet, but I’ve wanted to!

I’m loving the rich deep purples and reds, but I’ve always been a fan of blue and green too… tough choices!

  • Dorothy

I finished a couple of pieces last night that used vintage brass with carnelian, topaz, and champagne colors; and I love it so much, I think I’d just happily stay in that rut with these beautiful items.

  • Blues are always my favorites to use and they look so lovely with Vintaj. I’m really excited about the Vintaj patinas. Very nice giveaway!

  • erinkathleen

I have always loved greens of all shades. Heading into fall, with all of the vibrant jewel colors around, I love deep emerald green and plum together.

  • so nice i love the shades they so autum

  • Amy

I really don’t know what color I would use. I’ve never used this before.

  • I would love to colorized the mushroom and give it to my niece who calls herself “a little mushroom”!

  • Nancy

What a great treasure. They look so good with blues and purples!

  • kathyS

I like liver of sulphur on stamped silver, but the variety of greens is beautiful too.

  • I tend to go to more natural colors like you see in a sunset or in the desert.

  • Czecher Bollivar

I love the Opalite Patina. I would layer the colors from the ‘Victorian Gable’ patina set. Then lightly blend with colors from the Metallic Patina set. A touch of sanding with the metal reliefing block, seal, combine with a strand of complimentary ribbon and chain…..and ..Voila!! A new favorite necklace!

  • Sherry Wooden

    Green all the way

  • Chris White

I have been so interested in this technique. I would love to win this! I favor the greens, but it’s really hard to choose, they are all great!
    Thanks for the opportunity.

  • Valerie

I imagine these beautiful Vintaj items woven around, between and next to the beautiful Swarovski crystals and pearls in the 2012 Fall Pantone color report. Some pieces left in the beautiful richness of the brass, others pintina washed to resemble antique metal against the crystal colors of Mocca, Indian Pink, Hyacinth. Can you just see bead caps inclosing Emerald pearls or Vintage Rose crystals. Olivine and Topaz would be stunning when wired to an antiqued brass chain. Let’s not forget the gorgeous Capri Blue and Black Diamond dangling among the Vintaj charms for a wonderful charm bracklet. Thank you for the inspiration!

  • Lynda

Eventually, I’ll probably try every color available. Now to choose just one to start!

Vintaj Patina Kit – Weathered Copper

  • I think I would go with some bright jewel tones :)

  • Darlene W

Because the holidays are coming, I would use Red!!

  • Rebecca Jake

    Weathered Copper

  • my favorites have always been the weathered copper and brass with the oranges and blues…
i would mix metals with glass and chain, using the patinas after i formed and embossed the metal…
i love the colors of fall

  • Beth Bauer

Vintag has been my “go-to” choice for the bead & metal components I love to design! Looking at this collection has me wandering through my bead dreams of cute little beaded flowers poking out of metal bead caps, blingy crystal free-from components mounted on or wrapped in larger vintag components — all lusciously patina-ed to enrich the glory of the already gorgeous pieces. Bring it on!!

  • Kay

I’d probably use the Weathered Copper. I love copper and especially when it’s patina’d. I’d love to win these and experiment.

  • Rachael

I think light blue would look great with the bronze filigree.

  • This is gorgeous – I will try the Victorian Gable with it, make some romantic pieces :)

  • Sandra

I am loving carnelian and it would look great with these!

  • Serena Dennison

I would love to win this!!! I really LOVE ALL THE COLORS!!!!I just love to make things, I’m really hooked on beading though. Who was the lucky Swavorski winner? I know it wasn’t me darnit.

  • desiree

I love mixing the cooler colors of winter with antiqued brass pieces! :)

  • Definitely weathered copper! I’d love to give these a try.

  • Maria

Would use reds, oranges, pinks and yellows. Fun!

  • I would go with a combination of coppers and greens!

  • The blues and purples are my favorites all the time and in their darker shades, they are easily deeply sultry and. romantic. I would love the opportunity to experiment with this technique and these components.

  • Lori

Would love to see an aged copper patina on these

  • Kate K

I would use blues OR pinks, I think both of those color families really pop with Vintaj brass!

  • Tricia

    copper and green for me!

  • Jill

Fall is my favorite time of year, so I have been busy with reds and oranges. Theses pieces would work so well with my fall jewelry!

  • Mary

I would love to try the Weathered Copper. But then…maybe the rusted hardware….too many wonderful choices!

  • Bruja Ha

What an inspirational give-away! I love the look of the colors Pool and Cloudy…maybe because it’s been such a long, hot summer. Yummy, cool colors on some nice metal chain and pendants? Floats my boat!

  • Kristin

I am really into turquoise and mermaid green this fall. I would live to pair it with this awesome octopus carved out of bone I have been saving and some white heart beads. Weave some kinda band up on my loom! I haven’t tried Vintaj yet. But I can’t wait to get my hands on some :) It’s hard to find cool beads here in Newport Beach.

  • Trish

I just picked up some gorgeous jasper and carnelian that would go well with these findings!

  • Susan

I think these would look awesome with turquoise!

  • Emma F.

I have been really interested in some of the mixed media inspiration on the web site, and would love to try it myself. Turquoise would look wonderful with the natural brass and great for autumn!

  • What a great giveaway. I love the color of copper with the green patina.

  • I have just started playing with patina and glaze. I would pair this kit with some 4mm round black picasso czech glass and Turquoise nuggets. The natural brass and cooper of vintaj is gorgeous on its own, but I love playing with added color.

  • Carolyn Chiodini

My favorites are the blue and verdigris with a touch of rust thrown in. Just love these patinas!!

  • Allison Carlson

Wow, I’d love to give these a try! Especially with that “Victorian Gables” patina set! Those are such lovely colors!

  • Kelley Galyen

    Various shades of purples!!

  • I love using turquoise or a deep malachite green with Vintag brass…especially with a patina involved. Coral and ivory are gorgeous with it, too…there are really endless possibilities.
