Fathers’ Day Gift Ideas!

Need some fun ideas for handmade gifts that you can give to your dad this Fathers’ Day? Here are four great gift ideas that you can adapt to fit your dad’s style, even if he doesn’t wear jewelry!

1. Sports fan cell phone charm!

We have created the 12th Man Cell Phone Charm with 4mm crystal bicones in Seattle Seahawks colors (after all, FusionBeads.com’s headquarters is in Seattle!), but you can customize this charm with the colors of your dad’s favorite football team. You can even adapt it for a load of other sports – just check out our sterling silver sports charms here! If your dad wouldn’t use this on his cell phone, he can always attach it to his keys!

2. Handmade artist pendants on cord or chain!

We love the detail and craftsmanship that goes into the handmade beads that we carry from a variety of artists, and they can be slid onto a piece of chain or cord for a quick and easy gift. The pendant above on the left is made by Earthenwood Studios, which makes a ton of industrial-style ceramic pendants, perfect for dad. The pendant on the right comes from Green Girl Studios, a fantastic company that creates mythical and imaginative creatures by hand with lead-free pewter. Shop all of our artist beads here!

3. Personalized key chain!

Give your dad a gift he will cherish and show off! Use a collage pendant and a large swivel lobster clasp to create a key chain with photos in it! Check out our The Kids Keychain – just follow the instructions and you’ll have the perfect gift! Grandpas will especially love it!

4. Make a chunky bracelet with our Wrapped Cord Bracelet Technique!

This technique was photographed with dainty white pearls and a crystal button, but don’t be fooled! Use some large, chunky metal beads and a metal button with the Wrapped Cord Bracelet technique and you’ll create a really cool piece for your dad. Try some of our silver pewter beads with this technique!

  • Your gift ideas are really nice! I have other gift ideas for anyone who can’t pull off these beading projects (me! I’m not that good at crafts but my daughters would love making these for dad!) that are both techy and bookish in case your readers need more ideas. Father’s Day is coming up fast!

  • I’m in love with those wrapped cord bracelets! Can you have too many? :) I wonder if I could talk my husband into one of those…they can easily be made ‘manly.’

Great Post! You can check out some online gift stores if you are unsure what kind of gifts to get. There is one store that I found that has a bunch of unique gift items, electronics, gadgets, keychains, and other interesting items. I bought a few things from them and the people I gave it to like it a lot. The stuff there is pretty cheap. They also have free shipping and they deliver fast. http://www.thinkfuntoys.com
