  • I can see my self using these in many ways. There are so many possiblilites. Perhaps mixing with Natural Brass and picasso or copper finish Czech glass for a dark, patinated look. Linking the beads and parts on dark wire or knotting onto waxed cord.

Or go for all metal and mix them with C-Koop enamelled components. Or, for somewhat brighter colours, add acrylic flowers. Or I’d do some mix of wirework and beadweaving. Or, mixing hard and soft, add DIY organza flowers, frayed silk ribbon or similar.

Some pieces, like the leaves and butterflies, would probably be interesting to give a “colour wash”. Some of the pendants would also be nice to “layer” with an Arte Metal altered blank that I’d decoupage first.

  • I would use them with crystals to make necklaces. A Victorian look maybe.

  • Crysta

I would totally make some beautiful, dark, mysterious jewelry – maybe some new earrings – using these pieces with the new crystal color! Something that feels like under the sea where sunken boats get all rusty.

I am totally into necklaces right now. So…..necklaces and more necklaces!

  • anne

i would definitely use these in some funky earrings! i am completely into mismatch vintage-y and steampunked style earrings!

  • Totally love this eclectic mix…so bummed tehre is already 105 super ideas posted! I have been having fun creating designer…esque pieces off center using wire wrapped beads, birds, flowers and really cool vintaj pieces! I see more in my future! Have a super Valentines’ Day at Fusion!

    An assemblage! Love it.

  • Kimberly

I would make long dramatic necklaces!

  • Sara Hudson

I would use a few pieces with glass pearls or black and garnet colored crystals to make necklaces. Maybe use some lace or velvet ribbon threaded through bronze colored chain. Very Victorian looking would be appropriate.

So many possibilities!! Necklaces, bracelets, bookmarks, purse charms, key finders, earrings, you name it!!

  • Sarah

I would love to use this in a charm bracelet look. I would use crystals such as fusia and torquoise for a wonderful contrast.

  • Jennifer

Although they share the same feel, their look is flexible enough that each could be used with different colors and bead textures. A unique style for each piece, for my friends and family and…

I would make a charm bracelet, and then I’d take a few leftover pieces and use them on hand-stamped cards.

  • Krista

These are beautiful! I would love to use these with my tatting, especially the butterflies. They would make an amazing necklace.

  • Lise

The color of these pieces would work beautifully with the Pantone trend colors for this spring: honeysuckle, coral reef, peapod, and beeswax. (Reddish pink, coral, soft blue-green, and soft yellow-gold. There’s also russet; a similar color to the Vintaj pieces). I would take about 10 inches of coordinating chain and make a charm necklace, placing the wing or perhaps the biggest key in the middle, and adding another piece to every other link for a nice balance from end to end. Then I’d add Swarovski crystals to the remaining links in the colors above; maybe using the mini-pear or another interesting shape. A link on each end, fastened with some pretty silk ribbon and tied at the back of your neck, and you have something funky, fashion-forward and really fun!

  • Tracy

I think these would make amazing earrings!

  • Carole

I would most likely make a couple of necklaces and bracelets, but some of these pieces would be perfect for hair ornaments, too.

  • Carmela

I love the calla lily pendant, I will be incorporating it with a necklace made from Swarovski crystals.

  • Oh my, these are just beautiful. I would love to pair them up with some sparkly crystals and pearls and make some necklaces. Thank you for the opportunity.

I would use them to create the 1920s style jewelry I adore, and explore ways to combine swarovski flat-backs and sew-on crystals to add color.

  • I would use it to showcase my hand made “amber” beads and swarovski crystals. I would use a see through ribbon in black or rust color, determined by the color of the Vintaj piece.

  • Maria

    What a lovely lot !
I would use natural gemstones and wood to create brooches and focal pendants. Also silk ribbon to keep it all “natural”, it’s perfect for necklaces and also bracelet.
For a different look, I would paint the butterflies to give them a “patinated” look, with lovely blue and green tones.
This lot is simply the perfect one to use many techniques.

  • Wow, these new Vintaj pieces are so beautiful. I can used them in long “sautoir” with vintage look.

  • Angie Pearson

Im loving the vintage look that these findings can add to any type of material you choose to work with. Love the simplicity of it!

  • What a wonderful collection!!! I would use them in vintage style necklaces and earrings the most, although, there are so many other design possiblities.

Thank you for such a nice giveaway!!!!

    Vintaj makes such nice items.

This is a great new collection of pieces that will not only coordinate with almost every color, but will enhance and enrich your choice of colors. These are wonderful for upcoming spring designs using butterflies, flowers and leaves. Layering techniques or standing alone, I can’t wait to start designing new creations for spring and summer.

  • Some of these are begging to be painted with inks and sealed for a weathered verdigris patina look.

  • Marion Hersey

Necklaces, bracelets and earrings, Oh my! I would use themm for all of those things in umpty-zillion ways! They are gorgeous.

  • I am excited to see these vintage creations. I have a lot of real jet beads and have been searching for medallions to go with them. Can’t wait to get my order. CJ
