New Crystal Sneak Peek! Part 4

Pssst! Here’s another teaser for you crystal lovers! I wrote recently about the new color and effect that Swarovski Elements is launching for its Fall 2011 line. Today, I want to entice you with other new products will be introducing.

crystals with printsPrints! That’s right, you read that correctly. Swarovski Elements is launching a line of prints. These are great graphic black prints on transparent crystal pendants and beads. Three prints will be available – zebra, ivy and paisley. This collection is something completely new for Swarovski and for me – it gets my creative juices flowing. Think of the design possibilities!

crystal pearlsA beautiful new crystal pearl color will be arriving shortly as well – Crystal Light Gold. It’s a nice cross between Cream and Bright Gold. It’s a softer yellow that would look great in a monochromatic design using Jonquil, Light Topaz and the new Sunflower. It would also look amazing paired with mixed metals and chains to create a piece that is both edgy and classic.

crystal - ceramics If you haven’t yet played with the Swarovski Elements line of Ceramic beads, two new colors in the collection might finally sway you – Terracotta and Seagreen. Terracotta is a rich color for fall – a mix of grays and browns. Seagreen has a vintage feel with light greens and pale pinks. Try pairing this with Silk, Vintage Rose or Light Peach. Any of the ceramics can be paired with crystals but try using stones to emphasize the earthly tones.

crystal - effectsI am really excited about the expanded line of Swarovski Elements effects that includes more wonderful beads and pendants. You’ll want to dive head-first into making a necklace, bracelet or earrings to go with your dark blue skinny jeans using Crystal Bermuda Blue. It’s a rich mix of Capri Blue, Cobalt and Dark Indigo. The Crystal Tabac effect has beautiful, subtle olive and slate colors. It would work up easily with other crystal colors such as Lime, Dorado, Montana and the new Crystal Silver Night. I can’t wait to get my hands on a few of these pendants so I can make some new earrings for winter!

Keep checking back – all of these crystals and more will be here soon! I’m already creating my wish list for all of these yummy pieces!

Sparkle! – Lindsay
