Pantone Color of the Year 2017 – Greenery!

greenery-5“Greenery bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the reassurance we yearn for amid a tumultuous social and political environment. Satisfying our growing desire to rejuvenate and revitalize, Greenery symbolizes the re-connection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose.”

– Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone color Institute

Greenery is a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew. Being natures neutral, this exciting shade of green encourages consumers to take a deep breath, oxygenate and reinvigorate.

The new Color of the Year has already been spotted on the fashion runways, in weddings, interior design, jewelry design and more!

During New York Fashion Week this year, Greenery was all over the runway! Micheal Kors, Lacoste and many other designers had their models walk down the runway in this vibrant green!

Gaining in popularity, couples have been celebrating their big day surrounded by a stunning collection of foliage in multiple shades of green, including Greenery.

Greenery can also be used as a subtle pop of color in an otherwise safe design, or it can be used as a bold statement color to really show off your personality. Go all out with stunning Greenery walls, floor to ceiling curtains and furniture, or add just a touch of this hue to your interior design with throw pillows, wall hangings and lush plants!

We’ve made some fun necklaces, bracelets and earrings showing off the 2017 Color of the Year in the past, and now we’re even more excited and inspired to design with Greenery in the near future!
