I’ve spent all month organizing and cleaning out my beading stash. Even though I’ve found lots of new ways to use old supplies, like making purse charms, memory wire bracelets, and findings jewelry, there are still items I know I’ll never use. Fortunately you can use today’s trick and set up a bead exchange to clear out the last of your stash!
Setting up a bead exchange is easy! All you need are snacks, drinks, a collection of supplies to swap, and 2 or more beaders. Not only is an exchange party a great way to refresh your stash with new treasures while clearing out older supplies, you’ll have fun swapping project and technique ideas too! If your best beading buddy isn’t close enough to visit, you have a long distance exchange instead. I’m packing up a box of goodies from my stash to send to my friend in Denver, along with a chocolatey treat. And I can’t wait to get my box in the mail from her!
How have you cleaned out your stash of supplies lately?
