Bead and Button 2012

Well it was another amazing year at the Bead and Button Show! They do such an amazing job putting the show together and making it run so smoothly! There are over 750 classes offered (you could truly learn how to do everything at this show) with the most amazing instructors from around the world. And of course, so much shopping to be done! With over 300 booths of exciting products there is something here for everyone. If you didn’t get to make it to the show, here’s a little glimpse of what you missed this year…

Here’s Heidi from LillyPilly Designs, she was busy doing demos on how to color her anodized aluminum blanks.

I ran into Jill Wiseman from Tapestry Beads on the show floor. What a busy lady, she taught over 10 classes this year!

The wonderful Tom and Beth from Kabela Designs. She had some great new silver colored filigree that we’ll be getting soon!

I stopped by the Miyuki booth to see what new things they would have coming out (new colors in Tilas!) and look what they had displayed! These beaded portraits were made using Tila Beads. Amazing!

Here’s Diane Hawkey and her ceramic word beads. I love all the colors, they are so fun!

Cynthia Thornton was busy at the Green Girl Studios booth. Look at the lovely new designs that we will be getting soon!

I saw Jamie and Kristen demoing at the Soft Flex booth.

I got this action shot of the famous blogger, Andrew Thornton, getting a shot of Anne Choi!

The fun and colorful Glass Garden Bead booth was busy! Look at this fun new kit we’ll be getting. Love the colors!

Here are some of the amazing pieces in the Bead Dreams Competition this year…

I’m going to go sort through all the treasures I found and get some rest from the busy weekend. Bummed you missed out on all the fun? Don’t forget to save the date for next year: May 31 – June 9!

Happy Beading! – Katie
