Our Most Popular Inspiration of 2011!

At the end of each year, we here at FusionBeads.com work hard to find out which Inspiration jewelry has been the most popular with our customers throughout the year. Well, we’ve finally released the results, and I have to say, I’m pretty pleased with you guys because it appears that we have the same taste! I definitely wear my own variations of many of these designs every day, and I hope that you’ll find yourself drawn to them too, if you haven’t already! Keep reading to find out which designs are my favorite!

Tonight's the NightTonight’s the Night Earrings – I am crazy about these earrings! If you can string a bead onto a piece of wire, you can make these earrings! All they required is a simple loop and a few minutes of your time! Mixing gold and silver is a fun trend that I’m loving right now, and the crystal mixed into these hoop earrings give them an edgy glam vibe. It doesn’t hurt either that they match everything since they’re made with gold, silver and clear crystal!

Heirloom EarringsHeirloom Earrings – These frosty, striking earrings are simply mesmerizing! The combination of Air Blue Opal crystal with brass metal and white filigree is a perfect winter trio! The reason that I really adore these earrings, though, is that the filigree beads have been transformed from an antique brass finish to a really expensive enameled look, and all it took was some paint and glaze! In 2011, we launched the Coloring Filigree With Acrylic Paint Dabbers Technique, and now our customers have a fabulous way to create the look of enamel without the cost and difficulty of using real enameling techniques.

Something Wicked NecklaceSomething Wicked Necklace – This rich and dramatic crystal necklace is so clean and simple in design, however it’s very dynamic in look. The part of the necklace that I really love is the way that the pendants are attached. Our Bent Head Pin Bail Technique was perfect for this necklace! To create pendants, you just slide a bicone, a lucite flower and a pendant onto a headpin, then create a long wire wrap and bend it up. It’s so easy and it’s a great way to use lucite flowers!

Moss Rock NecklaceMoss Rock Necklace – Okay, this photo doesn’t quite do the necklace justice, but there are Crystal Flat Back Rhinestones glued onto a giant crystal pendant! Crystal layered onto more crystal is so fabulous, I can barely even handle it! The Swarovski Crystal Rock Pendant is unique in that it has a groove on the top with a matte finish in it – perfect for gluing crystals into! Follow our Gluing Crystal Flat Back Rhinestones Onto Crystal Technique to make this beautiful necklace!

Faded Denim BraceletFaded Denim Bracelet – This stunning bracelet is made with Right Angle Weave Stitch, and it blends the new Denim Blue color from Swarovski with Indian Sapphire and Montana to produce an ombre effect that is a huge trend right now! You can wear the bracelet with jeans or dress it up for a night out, but no matter how you wear it, you’ll be so in vogue!

Lasso Luxe BraceletLasso Luxe Bracelet – I had to save the best for last! This bracelet is not just my favorite of 2011, but it’s my favorite ever! The Wrapped Cord Bracelet Technique launched on our site in 2011, and it has been wildly popular among our customers! It’s a great gateway into weaving, but still easy enough for the people who aren’t bead weavers. The bohemian style that wraps around multiple times is extremely popular in jewelry everywhere right now!
