I’m just happy that there is only 30 days before the longest night of the year because after that day will be longer. V-e-r-y tiny steps every day but in the end of January day will be one hour longer than berfore Xmas. (I just hate this darkness here in Finland).

I am thankful for being alive and God bringing my family and husband together. In 2009 I had a very bad accident with a jet ski. The jet ski would not turn like it was supposed to and hit a pier. I got thrown off skidded across the pier and hit two pile ons(big huge posts) first one had a nail sticking out or bolt that dug into my knee. The other I cross bodied very hard. I fell back in water and nearly passed out(kept myself from doing that) my husband crossed the bayou in another spectators boat and they all got me out. It was very obvious my arm was broken (it was in a w or z formation instead of v when bent) the emergency crew that got there were certain I had internal injuries, I had an open gash exposing my knee cap as well. They life flighted me to a hospital. When got there I was checked out and had no brakes and no internal injuries. I had stitches to the knee, and bad road burn on my leg and arm. That wasn’t the only miracle God performed, He brought my family that ha a feud with my husband together with Him. I should have been severely injured or possibly dead. But thanks to the life vest and God I am here perfectly well and family is united. That is what I have been thankful for every day since then!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you…

I’m Thankful for my life & everyone that I Love in it! First of all, I’m Thankful for God – who makes this all possible. I’m Thankful for my Wonderful, Loving, Supportive, Hardworking, & Handsome Husband who stays by side through the Good & the Bad. Thanks to him – I can be a stay at home Mommy. And he is also so supportive with my new found Passion – CRAFTS. Due to my auto accident in 2005 – I became fully disabled & I’m unable to work – forcing him to pick up all the slack. We have are stresses with the high cost of living but we somehow manage. I’m also Thankful for my Four Beautiful Children whom I (we) cannot live without. Who is the reason to keep on fighting all the craziness in life? After becoming disabled – I was really depressed. But I had to push through all of the obstacles that were keeping me from being happy – because I had these five wonderful People behind me plus God. I was forced to be strong & overcome all the negativity. Thank you God for all of your Love & for Blessing me with such a Great Family whom I cannot be without! I Love you all…

Faith, Hope, & Love – the Greatest is Love
    All things are Blessed…

In the past, I used to be really pessimistic and focused on the bad things in my life. However, every time I tried to change my life, the bad things would go away, but so did some of the good things. That’s when I realized that no matter how bad your life may seem, there’s always something good to be thankful for, and so now I try to live my life being thankful for everything that is good, no matter how small, instead of focusing on the bad. Happy Thanksgiving!
