Thanks For the Shout Out, Bead Room!

FusionBeads.com was fortunate enough to be mentioned in Bead Style Magazine’s Bead Room on the June 15th post, “New Products: seeing stars” (check it out here). We want to give a big thank you to the Bead Room for mentioning us in your 4th of July star-themed post, and we are also very pleased to see some of our favorite artists mentioned as well! C-Koop, Hip Chick and Vintaj are fabulous designers and they all make stunning star-shaped beads and charms! We love the enthusiasm in your post, and we’re also gearing up for 4th of July as you can see in our 4th of July Staff Picks and our 4th of July Inspiration! Thanks again, Bead Room, have a wonderful 4th of July!

Thanks! – Sara

I am 53 yrs. old and just learning how to make beaded jewelry and enjoying it very much and am hoping to get good enough to sell what I make to suplement my income, but it is hard to afford everything needed to make jewlery being on disability. I was wondering if you had any ideas of where to purchase beads and findings at a cheaper price for now. And also do you have a catalog that you can send to me? Thank you,

There are many ways to be thrifty with your income while beading beautiful jewelry. Czech glass is a great way to get great color, consistent product at a good price. Using Fire Polish Glass will give you a lot of sparkle without the higher cost of crystal. If you do want to use crystal, try going with the bicone style as these will provide intense sparkle at a fraction of the cost of other shapes.

If you use wire, try one of the crafting wires like Parawire or Artistic Wire. Base metal head pins and clasps are also a low cost alternative to silver and gold. And don’t forget our sales and coupons! Those are a fabulous way to save big. Sign up to receive our email Newsletter by clicking “eNewsletter Sign-Up” located at the top of our site.

Since our site shows an up-to-date inventory of all items we offer, we don’t publish a paper catalog. Our site is always current and up-to-date as well as safe and secure. Feel free to email Customer Service at info@fusionbeads.com for any assistance you need.

  • My name is Dianne and I am 55 years old and fairly new to beading. I am trying to teach myself right angle weave according to the instructions given in fusion beads accept in important places it does not tell you whether or not to come down or go up the bead and that is very important! I am very confused; can someone help me? Thank you very much
