Oh, be still my heart!! What a fantastic giveaway! When I use sterling I know I’ve made a high quality piece of jewelry. Recipients always tell me they appreciate that I used the precious metal. Also, sterling is SO much better quality for wire wrapping and crimping than base metal. It’s a higher class, yet affordable, step I can take to show attention to detail and pride in what I make.

  • Jane

I would be sooo happy to win this!! Sterling goes with everything and adds a little sparkle to every piece!

  • Tammy Sweeney

  • Linda Anderson

While I LOVE sterling, the price is just too much for me. I’m a HUGE fan of silver because it’s so just so darn elegant! It shines like no other!

  • Sterling silver? Why waste good beads on anything else!

  • I love silver! Always have and always will. Growing up I had my ear pierced over 50 times and to this day I have one hole in only one ear. Yes, you heard me correctly only one hole in one ear. I did not know then that I was allergic to just about everything but silver. So, when my ear became infected. They would let them heal up and the process would begin all over again. Lot and lots of pain for a little girl and lots and lots of heartbreak. I watched other children longingly wishing I could wear earrings like them. I tried clip on earrings of every metal (except silver). When the same thing happened, I gave up.
When my allergy to the metals was determined by a doctor I found silver. It was glorious all in its own. I loved its sparkle and I loved it even more when the pieces that sparkled with silver were my creations.I guess the best way to put it is that silver completes my creations. Without it the jewelry item just would not be what it is, perfect. Sadly, unless requested by the customer 99.9% of my jewelry creations are silver. So, I would absolutely love the opportunity to take my handcrafted polymer clay beads and make beautiful creations with such a great giveaway of my favorite metal, silver.
Now, my reason for wanting to win might be a little corny because of my allergies to other metals but that’s ok. I love it none the same.

I do most of my beading in the Native American style, no other metal sets of turquoise and bone the way silver does!

  • Charity

The thing I love most about sterling is its shine. It’s absolutely gorgeous! And it can be wonderfully casual but beautifully elegant too.

I love sterling silver, especially in spring and summer, because it pairs so well with “beach” colored beads: aqua, ice blue, crystal, tan, seafoam green….. I could go on and on!

  • marlene

Sterling, the richness of old sterling that has aged and has become mellow to the bright, shiny newly forged metal. What is not to love about it? It can go from trendy and modern, to old southwest, then to antique mellowness. It shows well on every person. Love it!!!!

  • Becky Hoffmann

Silver is “da bomb”! It goes with everything!

  • oh, so nice of you! love sterling silver!

  • Tura Lura

I love sterling silver because it’s relatively inexpensive and readily available. I prefer the look of it over gold. Plus, it goes better with my skintone than gold does. ^_^

I love the way it goes with every color of bead, the way I can splash a bit of it into a project and make it look classy.

  • Regina

I love silver because I have a pink undertone to my skin, and it just LOOKS better on me….. The fact that it’s cheaper than gold helps, as does the fact that almost ANYONE can wear sterling silver!

I use silver in almost everything I make, and one of my friends who is overseas got a nice present of silver and Swarovski jewelry when she was in the desert – she said it helped her feel feminine in that very masculine environment! I was happy to see that I could make a small difference in a soldier’s life!

  • Claudia

I love sterling silver because it shines and you can mix it with the perfect beads to get a special combination!
