Four Fantastic Gift Ideas For Teachers!

It’s getting to be that time of year, when the sun comes out and the kids at school can’t sit still, just counting down the days until summer break. Although kids work really hard all year at school, it’s their teachers who deserve the biggest recognition for all of their hard work. Here are four easy personalized gifts to give to your children’s teachers to say thanks!

1. Bead Pens

Every teacher deserves a nice pen! You can help them grade papers in style with a beautiful personalized bead pen (see all of our pens here)! These are so easy to make, you can even let your children create these gifts for their teachers on their own! For The Write Stuff Pen and the Blushing Rose Pen above, we used Cane Glass Tube Beads, but you can fill these pens up with any large-hole beads that you’d like! A quality bead pen will make a personal gesture and it will be functional – what could be better!

2. Eyeglass Holder

If you know a teacher who wears glasses, giving a beautiful eyeglass holder as a gift will make the perfect accessory! Your kids can even help make this one – just use our Crimping technique with Soft Flex Beading Wire and string a row of beads about 28 inches long, then attach eyeglass holders (see silver here and gold here) at both ends with crimp beads! It’s both easy and customizable and it will give that teacher in your life just a little more flair!

What teacher isn’t a bookworm? Customize a bookmark for your teacher (find them here!) with anything that your heart desires! Add a charm, some beautiful glass beads, or even a stamping blank embellished with a transfer image! I love these bookmarks because the fun dangle will embellish the spine of your book and, you know what, even books deserve jewelry, right? Check out our Home Decor Inspiration page for a load of bookmark ideas as well as other fun gift ideas!

4. Gift Certificate

Many teachers are super crafty, so why not give a gift that will help them expand their crafting collections? Even if your child’s teacher hasn’t made jewelry before, a gift certificate can send them right on their way to this fun (and addicting) craft! Our gift certificates are sold from $10 to $250 and they can be printed at home, so they are perfect as last minute gifts! Click here to purchase a gift certificate!

  • I love this idea! My son starts Kindergarten this year – would it be inappropriate to give gifts at the start of the school year this fall? I don’t want to wait until next summer!

Missie, I’m sure your son’s new teacher will be so grateful for your gift. What a fantastic way to say hello for the first time!

  • Hi!
These are really wonderful ideas, thank you very very much… Our teachers are very special…

    Take care,

In the district I teach in, and several others I’m sure, all teachers and staff have to have a name badge on at all times. Beaded lanyards can be a really useful and appreciated gift. I’ve made them in school colors and even included alphabet beads with the name of the school and/or teacher.

  • You could definitely see your skills in the article you write.
The arena hopes for more passionate writers such as you who aren’t afraid to

  • Good web site you have here.. It’s hard to find high-quality writing like yours
these days. I seriously appreciate people like you! Take care!!
