Make Personalized Pendants For Men With ICE Resin!

Every time a birthday or holiday rolls around, I’m always so eager to make jewelry for the women in my life, however I struggle to come up with ideas of what to make for men. Luckily, I’ve discovered that it’s so easy to make personalized mens pendants with ICE Resin! Resin is the perfect medium for creating a pendant because it can encapsulate nearly any keepsake that you want to display. The pendant can be strung onto chain, leather, suede, rubber or cotton cord for a necklace or bracelet, or it can be made into a keychain for men who don’t wear jewelry.  In the photo above, you’ll find a bottle cap sealed with resin onto a bezel pendant, a portion of a beer label that has been glued to a stamping pendant and glazed with resin, and a necklace from the FusionBeads.com Inspiration gallery, High Roller. I made the High Roller necklace by cutting out a clip from a men’s magazine, sealing it with glue, gluing it into a collage pendant, then filling the bezel pendant with ICE Resin. It’s so easy and so personal! Here is a list of other things you can use with ICE Resin to create a perfect pendant for that special man in your life:

1. Guitar pick
2. Playing cards
3. Poker chips
4. CD cover art
5. Candy wrapper
6. Bolts and washers
7. Vintage stamps
8. Parts of an old circuit board
9. Watch gears
10. Ticket stubs
11. Road maps
12. Sheet music
13. Cutouts from a comic book

While resin is my favorite medium for creating a fantastic pendant, a lot of men love the look of soldered jewelry as well. Try using the Basic Soldering technique to create a frame for your paper pendants, but make sure to avoid this technique if you are using plastics or high gloss photos!

this is so true for me, What to make for the men? this ice resin sounds interesting. Is the any literature that I can purchase on the process to see if it is something that I would be interested in doing?

  • I have just started looking into using ICE resin the past few days. Then I come across this, which is a great idea, and now fusion beads is having a sale on it. It must be fate.

I’m always looking for ideas for the men in my life. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

  • I wish mine was fake. We didn’t spend that much (comparatively) on it, but it has been a ring that price several hundred dollars rather then one that was $1300 and looked identical.

A fascinating discussion is worth comment. I believe that you need to publish more on this subject, it might not be a taboo matter but generally people do not discuss such issues. To the next! Kind regards!!
